Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
- Early morning departure from Nairobi (around 7:30 AM).
- Scenic drive with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic photos.
- Arrive at Masai Mara by midday for lunch at your budget tented camp near the park gate.
- Settle in, then head out for your first afternoon game drive (approx. 3:30–6:30 PM).
- Spot lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and more.
- Return to camp for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve (Full Day)
- Early breakfast at camp.
- Embark on a full-day game drive with picnic lunch inside the reserve.
- Venture to the Mara River to witness croc and hippo activity, and—if visiting between July and October—potentially the iconic wildebeest river crossings.
- Seek out the Big Five and other savannah species.
- Optional extra (advance booking required): Hot air balloon safari at sunrise (additional cost).
- Campfire dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi
- Option for a sunrise game drive to catch early predators on the move.
- Breakfast at camp, pack up and check out.
- Depart for Nairobi, with a lunch stop en route (at own cost or included, depending on operator).
- Arrive in Nairobi by mid to late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.

- Shared/group joining transport in 4x4 safari van or minibus with pop-up roof.
- Professional, English-speaking driver-guide throughout safari.
- 2 nights’ accommodation in a budget tented camp (en-suite bathrooms, hot showers; typically, just outside park gate).
