7 DAYS TANZANIA CLASSIC SAFARI ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrival and Arusha City Tour

•             Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA).

•             Transfer to Planet lodge for check-in and rest.

•             In the afternoon, embark on an Arusha city tour exploring highlights such as the Maasai Market, Arusha Central Market, Cultural Heritage Centre, and optionally the Snake Park. This tour offers a rich cultural experience and insight into local life and crafts

DAY 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

•             After breakfast, depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2-hour drive).

•             Enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.

•             Have lunch at the lodge or packed lunch during the game drive.

•             Overnight stay at Fanaka Camping

DAY 3: Lake Manyara National park

•             Early breakfast and depart for Lake Manyara

•             A full-day game drive, known for its dense wildlife population

•             Overnight at Fanaka Camping

 DAY 4: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

•             Early breakfast and depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

•             Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive, known for its dense wildlife population including the Big Five.

•             Enjoy lunch inside the crater or at a designated picnic spot.

•             Overnight at Eileens Tree Inn

DAY 5: Transfer to Central Serengeti

•             After breakfast, drive to the Central Serengeti.

•             Check-in and relax

•             Optional afternoon game drive in the Serengeti plains to witness the vast wildlife and possibly the Great Migration depending on the season.

•             Overnight at Heritage Camps and Lodges

DAY 6: Central Serengeti Full Day

•             Spend the day exploring the Central Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives.

•             Opportunity to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, and other wildlife in their natural habitat.

•             Overnight again at Heritage Camps and Lodges

DAY 7: Return to Arusha

•             After breakfast, depart from Northern Serengeti to Arusha town.

•             Drop off at your accommodation or designated location in Arusha, concluding the safari.
