Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
- Early morning departure from Nairobi (around 7:00 AM).
- Scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley.
- Arrive at Masai Mara for lunch at a budget camp/lodge.
- Afternoon game drive searching for lions, elephants, zebras, and more.
- Dinner and overnight at camp near the park.
Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve
- Full day exploring the Masai Mara.
- Morning and afternoon game drives for Big Five and possibly the wildebeest migration (seasonal).
- Optional Maasai village visit (small extra cost).
- All meals and overnight at camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
- Early breakfast and morning game drive as you exit the park.
- Transfer to Lake Nakuru.
- Lunch en route; arrive for an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru.
- Spot rhinos, giraffes, flamingos, and more.
- Dinner and overnight at a budget lodge or camp near Nakuru.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park
- Early morning game drive and breakfast.
- Road transfer towards Amboseli National Park (packed lunch on the way).
- Enter Amboseli for an evening game drive, catching views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
- Dinner and overnight at a budget camp/lodge in Amboseli.
Day 5: Amboseli National Park
- Morning and afternoon game drives to seek large elephant herds, buffalo, lions, and other wildlife.
- Visit swamps and enjoy Kilimanjaro vistas.
- All meals and overnight at camp.
Day 6: Amboseli – Nairobi
- Early morning game drive for final sightings.
- Breakfast, check-out, and drive back to Nairobi.
- Arrive in the afternoon for drop-off at city center or airport.
Safari Highlights
- Shared safari with fellow adventurers (max. 7 per vehicle).
- Experienced English-speaking driver-guide.
- Daily game drives in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli.
- Optional activities: Maasai village visit, hot air balloon safari (extra cost, pre-booking recommended).
- Impressive landscapes: savannah, lakes, and the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
