Day 5: Summit Day – Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak and Descent to Horombo Hut

  • Enjoy sunrise and panoramic views from Africa’s highest point.
  • Descend back to Kibo Hut for rest and refreshments.
  • Continue descending to Horombo Hut for overnight stay.

Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate – Transfer to Moshi/Arusha

  • After breakfast, descend 20 km (12.5 miles) through moorland and rainforest.

  • Transfer back to Moshi or Arusha (approx. 1 hour).
  • End of tour.
